Redknapp tribute to Spurs campaign

Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp hailed an "incredible season" as their fifth-placed finish ensured Europa League footnall next season.

And in the aftermath of a 2-1 win over Birmingham. he fumed at suggestions his side had under-performed in not qualifying for the Champions League.

He told Sky Sports: "It's been an incredible season - the European adventure, beating Arsenal for the first time, going toLiverpool and winning. We've had great games and this has been far and away the best season in the Premier League that Tottenham has had.

"I haven't heard anyone moaning. They are idiots aren't they? What kind of idiot picks up a phone to ring a phone in. They are idiots and I don't listen to them. We have had an amazing season - it won't get any better, enjoy it. This is good as it can get.
