Ancelotti's future has been the subject of speculation ever since the Blues' mid-season slump which ultimately cost them the title.
The Italian's former club Roma is his most likely destination, with Roma's talismanic skipperFrancesco Totti having claimed earlier this year that he will not retire until Ancelotti returns to the club.
And Galliani is confident that his former Milan boss Ancelotti is set to continue his career.
"I have spoken to Carlo. He will come to see me in a couple of weeks," said Galliani. "He is a great coach and I'm confident he will soon find a great coaching post he deserves."
Roma are to replace coach Vincenzo Montellathis summer, and Totti has reconfirmed that he would welcome Ancelotti's arrival.
"We hope that Ancelotti is one of our candidates for Roma's bench," Totti said.
